In true Horses fashion, we eliminated everything we could to arrive at our Platonic ideal of a trench, always staying true to the heart of our brand — the intersection of punk and prep. We design for you — people in motion who want their elegance to come easy. Drafted over the course of years, we channeled all of our style icons — Patti Smith, Jane Birkin, Yoko Ono, Gena Rowlands, Monica Vitti. Double-breasted closure, oversized notched lapel, made of waxed cotton from a family-owned mill in Italy. Finished with mother-of-pearl buttons, tie-belt at waist, flap pockets, cuff hits at knuckles, long enough to roll. Wear three ways: double-breasted with belt looped at back, lapels down with belt tied at waist, or buttoned and belted with collar up. What other coat can infer a striptease while protecting you from the elements? Multi season. Wear over everything — or nothing.
