Slipdress in Jet

The dress that started it all. Our very first design that U.S. Vogue profiled on supermodel Jourdan Dunn when we showed our debut collection in New York. We originally dreamed of a small clothing line of slipdresses. We found them to be so simple to wear—with a sweatshirt thrown over, or a giant thrifted men's jacket. They felt strong and powerful, but also irreverent and a bit badass. It took us a million tries to get that first pattern right. Our customers love this piece because, in addition to the lore of the shape, it has the most flattering fit––the bodice is cut on the bias and the three panels that form the skirt are cut on the grain. The waist is free with a double-v at the back to flatter the derriere, and the wide shoulder strap has adjustable hardware for ease of fit. A dress to live in, a dress for life.
